Takashi Kokubo is one of Japan’s foremost environmental musicians and sound designers, widely known for creating iconic sounds such as Japan’s Earthquake Early Warning alert and the payment sound used by the iD electronic payment system.
Among the works originally released in the 1990s as part of the ION Series, the particularly popular Oasis of the Wind II: A Story of Forest and Water is now receiving its long-awaited reissue.
